Honey and Soy Glazed Salmon with Veggies
This honey and soy glazed salmon is a quick and easy dish that you can make with salmon fillets, honey, soy sauce, sesame oil, ginger, garlic, salt, pepper, and sesame seeds.
The honey and soy sauce create a delicious glaze that coats the salmon and gives it a sweet and savory flavor. The salmon is baked with some veggies, such as broccoli, carrots, and green beans, which make a healthy and colorful side dish.
Ingredients
4 salmon fillets, skin-on
4 tbsp honey
4 tbsp soy sauce
2 tbsp sesame oil
2 tsp grated ginger
2 cloves garlic, minced
Salt and pepper, to taste
2 tbsp sesame seeds
400g broccoli florets
200g baby carrots
200g green beans, trimmed
2 tbsp vegetable oil
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 200°C/180°C fan/gas mark 6 and line a baking sheet with baking paper.
To make the glaze, whisk the honey, soy sauce, sesame oil, ginger, and garlic in a small bowl until well combined,Set aside.
Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper on both sides, and place them skin-side down on the prepared baking sheet. Spoon some of the glaze over the salmon and sprinkle some sesame seeds on top. Reserve some of the glaze for later.
Toss the broccoli, carrots, and green beans with the vegetable oil and some salt and pepper in a large bowl. Arrange them around the salmon on the baking sheet, leaving some space between them.
Bake the salmon and veggies for 15 to 20 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and the veggies are tender. Baste the salmon with the remaining glaze halfway through the cooking time.
Serve the salmon and veggies hot, with some rice, noodles, or quinoa if you like. Enjoy your honey and soy glazed salmon! 🐝
